So, my friend just upgraded his G5 to Tiger. He's running DP4.1.1. , which was working fine before he upgraded to Tiger, and now he can't open DP4. Is there any way around this? He tried the System Preferences > Startup Disk option to see if he could restart in an older version of OSX, but it didn't give him the option to do that.
Any suggestions? Or is he going to have to spend $500 to upgrade to a compatible version of DP?

Matt,
Nope -- DP 4.1.x doesn't run under Tiger. Me thinks your friend should have researched it first, this has been common knowledge in the DP community for awhile.
The upgrade from 4.1.x to 4.5 / 4.6x, though, is nowhere near $500, if you have the serial # and keycode. I'm running 4.61 on my dual 2ghz G5 under Tiger, and it's very nice :-)
Regards, who will upgrade to DP 5 as soon as it's universal (so I can run it on my MacBook as well as my G5)
