  have you tried bringing it in in a variety of ways? sometimes a large file will not import as a soundbite but might open or be pasted... try a bunch of angles.

  try chopping it up in Peak or something, if possible. Then bring in separate files. That's one big-assed file. Or take it to a friend who has a badder-assed computer and have him do it. Are you doing it in 16 or 24l-bit? Perhaps knocking it down to 16 from 24 might make it work better? Hmmm...
