I've been searching seemingly the entirety of the interweb to find a definitive answer to this question... i'm so glad i found this tribe because someone here might know the answer.
Can i use a Digi002 as an interface for Digital Performer?
I'm looking to go away from ProTools on my new Mac Pro, and i'm half an inch away from buying DP 5 for it, but i need to know if the 002 will work as an interface, or if i'm going to need to buy a new interface to get it working.
I do plan on switching to an 828 when i have the money, but if the 002 works, i can get my rig going asap.
Thanks in advance, i really appreciate it.

Re: DP with Digi002?
Thu, October 12, 2006 - 8:31 PMI bought 5.1 scant months (actually month) ago and if I read the instructions right the digi 002 already has a preset for it in 5.1. You'll never go back to protools and their propietary hardware voodoo crap. Enjoy! -

Re: DP with Digi002?
Fri, October 13, 2006 - 6:22 PMSweet. Thanks for the heads up.
I also found CoreAudio drivers for the 002 on digidesign's website (although they made them very hard to find) I think when i get DP and feel things out, between DP and the 002 CoreAudio drivers i'll be able to work it 'well enough' until i get my 828
