Hi.
Imported an audio file of a solo piano sonata project i'm working on. Can someone please guide me on how to time strech the soundbite using conductor? I read up in the manual but I'm not doing it right. I want to basically slow it down or speed it up at certain points. Please someone help me.

Bren,
Are we the only two people who are alive here? I sometimes wonder ...
Anyway, i've not had to do time-stretching in DP for awhile, but when I was using DP3, I _believe_ I could get DP in a mode where I could just position the mouse on either edge of the clip, then drag to do timestretching. Maybe I was tripping, but ...
On DP 4.12, this, I think, will do what you want: Just select the soundbite, select "Scale Time" under "Region", then change the begin or end points, making sure that the "time stretch audio" box is selected.
I'm thinking that there's an easier way, but I don't know what it is yet ...
Regards,
John, anxiously awaiting DP4.6

No doubt, there must be more DP heads out there!
I'm in recording mode, so I'll be here more often, to be sure...
Blessings all!
